About JC Garay Tree and Lawn Service

Dawn on the Westside comes up behind the downtown towers and slides down the terraced yards one stone wall at a time. JC Garay Tree and Lawn Service is out at that hour, mowers still cool, dew on everything, taking the first lawns before the heat gets any say in the day. These are old lots with steep front slopes and short flat backs, and they ask for careful cutting and a great deal of hand trimming around steps and walls. Nothing about the work is complicated, cut, define, trim, clear the walks, but a whole block of it lines up beautifully by breakfast. The pride sits right there in the finish line, straight along the sidewalk, the same every week.
