Martinez Tree & Lawn Service

About Martinez Tree & Lawn Service

The Westside climbs in steps above Southwest Boulevard, and from the top of those streets the Kaw valley flattens out toward the west. Martinez Tree & Lawn Service works the small, steep yards up there in late summer, mowing terraces, trimming along stone stairs, and clearing limbs and brush from under the hackberries and mulberries leaning over the fences. Shade changes everything about a lawn, so cutting height and timing shift block by block. Sweeping the sidewalk clean at the end is part of the job, not an extra. Yards this narrow show every bit of care they are given.
