Aristocrate Lawn

About Aristocrate Lawn

Late April along Ward Parkway, the fountains are running again and the light stays gold until nearly eight o'clock. Aristocrate Lawn keeps the deep boulevard lawns of Kansas City's south side, mowing the long open sweeps, edging where turf meets limestone curb, and clearing clippings so a walk stays as clean as the grass. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass of the evening, when the mower lines run straight down a block and the redbuds hold their color overhead. Spring in this city arrives fast and green, and much of the work is simply keeping stride with it, week after week. A tidy front lawn is how a house says good evening to the street.
