About SS Custom Landscaping, LLC

West of town, Joplin's newest subdivisions are still filling in, young trees staked against the wind and lawns barely past their first full season. SS Custom Landscaping, LLC works those newer properties, where a young tree bent under wet snow needs almost as much attention as the driveway underneath it. The ground out here is more open than the older parts of Joplin, fewer windbreaks, so a storm tends to drift snow harder against a west-facing garage door than it would downtown. Clearing a new driveway back to bare concrete, with a staked young maple still standing straight beside it, makes its own kind of finished picture. By evening, porch lights come on one by one along streets that are still learning their own shape.
