Pat's Lawn Care

About Pat's Lawn Care

Evening comes slow down the old Route 66 alignment through Joplin, and the light along Main Street turns the color of cut hay. That is Pat's Lawn Care's favorite hour to look back at a finished yard: mowing lines running true, string trimming taken tight to the fence posts and porch steps, edging that draws a hard margin along the sidewalk. Fescue and bermuda both grow in this corner of Missouri, and each wants its own blade height and its own week to be pushed. Clippings get blown off the walks and the drive before anyone loads up, because a yard isn't finished until the concrete is clean. Joplin, Webb City and Carl Junction get that same treatment, one street at a time.
