About Grasshopper Lawn & Landscaping

Past the last subdivision on the edge of town, the ground around Joplin begins to swell into the oak-hickory hills that mark the start of the Ozark foothills. Grasshopper Lawn & Landscaping works the long gravel drives and pasture-edge properties out where those hills begin, ground that holds snow longer than the city blocks closer in. A drive out there can be a half mile of open, wind-scoured white before it ever reaches a house. Clearing that kind of distance means starting before light and working steady, watching drifts build back in behind the blade on a windy morning. Once the plow finally shuts off out there, the quiet that's left is worth the early start.
