Gooch's Lawncare

About Gooch's Lawncare

Come the back half of September the oaks and hickories over Joachim begin letting go a few leaves at a time, then all at once, and every lawn underneath them disappears by degrees. Gooch's Lawncare works with that calendar rather than against it, keeping the mowing going while the grass still wants it and clearing the leaf drop before it mats down and smothers what is underneath. The regular rounds are mowing, trimming and edging; the fall stretch adds leaf removal and a full cleanup to send a yard into winter with room to breathe. Acorns, hickory nuts and wet leaves make for slow, careful passes, and there is no shortcut worth the damage a rushed one does. What is left when the blower shuts off is a yard that looks like the trees never happened.
