Heartland Lawn and Landscape

About Heartland Lawn and Landscape

Midsummer evenings in Jefferson come on thick and slow, the cicadas winding up in the treetops just as the heat lets go of the blacktop. That is the hour a lawn earns its keep: out on the porch with a sweating glass, fireflies rising from grass cut to a uniform length earlier in the week. Heartland Lawn and Landscape keeps turf in step with a Missouri July, with regular mowing, trimmed borders where lawn meets walk and fence, and landscape beds held back from going wild in the humidity. The name suits a town set near the middle of the map, where a yard is meant for living in after supper. The view from the porch feels settled because someone tended it.
