About Jefferson City Lawn

South of the tracks in Old Munichburg the houses sit close together, the brick holds its color through the wet months, and the front yards are small, square and impossible to hide a bad cut on. Jefferson City Lawn takes those lots seriously — mowing, edging along the sidewalk seam, trimming around iron fences and porch steps, then blowing the walk clean afterward. In April the whole south side greens up at once, and the little yards are the ones people actually walk past every day. Getting a compact lawn exactly right is its own craft: no room for a wide turn, no place to hide a missed strip. Around the capital city, one tidy front yard lifts a whole block.
