About Jkb lawn

James Bayou takes its name from slow water, and the township spreads across Mississippi County bottomland so level that a heron lifting off a ditch can be watched for a mile. Jkb lawn keeps the home places out here trim against all that open country, mowing, trimming, and holding back grass that grows with true delta abandon. Through the long, humid afternoons of early summer, a fresh-cut yard is a small square of order set among the soybean rows. The craft is simple and satisfying: even height, clean edges, a yard that looks lived in and loved. Out on the river flats, that's a sight worth keeping.
