About Burnett Landscape Management

The old railroad depot streets in Jackson still carry a little of the town's start as a stop on the line, and Burnett Landscape Management works those blocks first each snowy morning, clearing the lots and drives around the Cape Girardeau County courthouse square before the day's business gets underway. This is foothill country easing down toward the Mississippi lowlands, rolling just enough that a driveway on the edge of town might hold ice long after the flatter streets near the square have dried out. The crew keeps a close eye on which lots catch shade and which catch sun, working the shaded ones twice if a hard freeze sets up overnight. The courthouse doors open onto salted walks and a clear lot, the square already handled well before anyone's turned a key in a shop door.
