About Campion Land Management LLC

North of Independence, where the streets give way to open pasture along the Missouri River bluffs, the old wagon ruts from the trail days are still creased faintly into the ground under a fresh snow, if you know where to look. Campion Land Management works that edge of the county, clearing farm access roads and long field lanes as the light goes gray and flat in late afternoon. This ground runs bigger and rougher than the town proper — fence lines instead of curbs, open bluff wind instead of building shelter — and a drift can build fast where the land drops toward the river. The company runs its equipment out until the lanes are open clear back to the barn, dusk settling in blue over the bluffs well before the last pass is finished.
