Burchs Lawn and Property Service

About Burchs Lawn and Property Service

North of Independence the ground drops away toward the Missouri, and from the bluffs above Sugar Creek you can watch the weather cross the bottomland long before it arrives. Burchs Lawn and Property Service works those windy edges of town, where lawns run up against slope and timber. Mowing and trimming are the steady part; the rest is brush cut back, limbs and leaves gathered, a property kept from going shaggy at its borders. It takes a certain stubbornness to make a hillside yard look level and kept. The view from the top is worth the climb.
