KADEL & SONS

About KADEL & SONS

It's still dark over the bluffs above the Mississippi when KADEL & SONS starts its rounds through Imperial's subdivisions, clearing driveways before the first commuters pull out for the drive up I-55 toward St. Louis. This stretch of Jefferson County rolls hard toward the river, the newer streets cut into hillside lots that catch every bit of wind coming off the water below. A driveway here isn't flat — it climbs or drops on its way to the garage, and a skim of ice on that grade will strand a car faster than any snowfall total suggests. The crew works the hills first, then the level cul-de-sacs, so headlights backing out of garages find the way down to the highway already salted and bare.
