Huntsville keeps its courthouse square at the center of everything, and the town rolls out from there into Randolph County farm ground in every direction. Dc mowing works those blocks and the places out along the East Fork of the Little Chariton, mowing, trimming, edging and clearing clippings off the walks and drives. Prairie wind moves through with little to slow it, drying a yard quickly after rain and letting the route hold its schedule most weeks. The real pleasure is in the older lots near the square, with their deep front yards, big shade trees and sidewalks that want a clean edge, left looking level and finished from the street. In fall the leaves come off those same trees, and the yards get cleared before the ground goes cold.
