Decker's Lawn Care

About Decker's Lawn Care

By late August the ridges east of Howell run loud with cicadas, and the grass slows down enough that every line you cut stays where you put it. Decker's Lawn Care keeps the yards between the Dardenne Creek draws and the ridge roads on a steady rhythm of mowing, string trimming, edging and the blow-down that takes clippings off walks and drives. Slopes here shed water fast, so a lawn gets cut with the fall of the land in mind rather than against it. The good part comes in evening light, when the last pass throws a long shadow and the turf reads like combed felt from the porch. Come fall the same route turns to leaves, cleared off the grass before the first hard rain packs them down.
