Barks & Blades Lawn Care

About Barks & Blades Lawn Care

River fog sits low over the Missouri bottoms below Howell most summer mornings, and the first cut of the day goes down while it is still lifting. Barks & Blades Lawn Care works the yards along the Highway 94 corridor, where flat bottomland gives way to oak ridges inside of a mile. Mowing, trimming and edging out here means reading ground that can be sandy loam in one lawn and heavy clay on the slope just above it. The reward is the walk-back look: stripes running true, the seam along the drive cut square, clippings blown off the concrete before the sun tops the trees. By the time the fog burns off, the yard looks like nobody had to work for it.
