Janiece's Cleaning & Lawn Building

About Janiece's Cleaning & Lawn Building

Snow is a rare enough visitor to the flat Bootheel ground around Holcomb that when it does come, it lays itself out plain and unbroken across a hundred acres of harvested cotton and bean fields at once, with nothing but a drainage ditch or a grain bin to break the white. Janiece's Cleaning & Lawn Building takes those cold snaps as they come, running trucks down the straight section roads to clear driveways and lots before the Dunklin County morning gets moving. A plow blade on ground this level and this wide open has nothing to fight — no hill to climb, no bluff to dodge, just a long flat pass down a farm lane under a sky doing all the work overhead. The driveways sit bare again well before midmorning, the Delta free to send whatever it wants next.
