General Lawn

About General Lawn

Some weeks you can spot the route from the corner: three or four High Ridge yards in a row, all cut the same day. General Lawn works that way through northwest Jefferson County, keeping neighbors grouped on one run so a whole block comes up looking level and unbroken. The work itself is unglamorous and honest — mow, trim, edge, blow the concrete, move on to the next drive. Spring asks for it weekly and midsummer sometimes lets you stretch it, but the schedule holds and the grass never gets ahead. What people notice is not the mowing; it is that they stopped having to think about the mowing at all.
