About Roland Outdoor Inc

Late light in Hannibal has a color all its own. It slides down the brick streets, catches the sycamores along Bear Creek, and turns an ordinary front lawn into something worth slowing down for. Roland Outdoor Inc works right into that hour, mowing in even passes, trimming fence lines and mailbox posts, hauling off leaves in autumn when the bluff timber lets go all at once. The river brings weather in fast here, a green summer, a soggy spring, an October that arrives overnight, so the yards get tended on the river's schedule rather than ours. Handled that way, a lawn in this town looks like part of the landscape instead of a chore left waiting.
