PMB Lawn Care

About PMB Lawn Care

From the small lighthouse on Cardiff Hill, Hannibal spreads out below in rooftops and green squares. PMB Lawn Care works in those green squares, the front lawns and backyards of the town that gave the world Tom Sawyer's whitewashed fence. The job is lawn care without pretense: mowing on schedule, trimming where grass meets fence posts and siding, blowing clippings off the walks. In July, when heat lies heavy over the old downtown and the grass shoots up after a night storm, staying ahead of it is a small art of its own. At dusk, a freshly mown yard glows in the evening light slanting over Cardiff Hill.
