About Selz Gardening

Some of Grover's loveliest hours come just after supper in June, when the light turns amber and the first fireflies lift out of the tall grass along the tree line. Selz Gardening tends the lawns that make those evenings worth sitting out for. The work is lawn care in its simplest form: mowing at an even height, trimming beside fences and flowerbeds, sweeping the patio clear when the cutting is done. It carries a gardener's way of looking, noticing where heavy shade thins the turf and where afternoon sun bakes a bank. When the porch light flicks on, the grass beneath it looks loved.
