All American Lawn Care

About All American Lawn Care

By mid-morning in July the cicadas are winding through the oaks and the heat stands in the fescue like still water. All American Lawn Care keeps at it anyway, mowing and trimming the yards along Glaze's gravel lanes and the blacktop that runs off toward Iberia. A lawn cut clean to the fence line, clippings blown back off the drive, the walk showing its own edge again — that is the whole point of the day. When the oaks let go in October the work turns to leaves and fall cleanup, clearing the year's litter before the first hard freeze sets in. Plain work, on ground that people around here are fond of.
