About DEWS-MOWING
First light over Gallatin comes with dew heavy enough to soak a boot to the ankle, and the pasture beyond the last row of houses steams a little as the sun climbs. DEWS-MOWING gets going once the grass has dried enough to cut clean — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the drive of everything the blades throw. There is a stretch of early morning here when the town is still quiet and the only work being done is outdoors. By the time the day gets hot the route is well along and the finished yards are already holding their stripes. Gallatin and the nearby Daviess County communities see that truck most weeks of the season.
