A - DO IT ALL

About A - DO IT ALL

At midday the sun throws almost no shadow at all, and the town goes still in the heat while the mowing gets done anyway. A - DO IT ALL works the yards around town, cutting, trimming and clearing the clippings so a lawn looks intended rather than merely alive. Summers ask a great deal of grass and more of whoever tends it; the payoff comes near five o'clock, when the light goes long and low and every edge shows itself. There is genuine satisfaction in a strip of turf that ends exactly where the walk begins. It is the kind of thing people notice.
