Beckett's Tree Service & Landscaping

About Beckett's Tree Service & Landscaping

Late August in Freeborn comes in heavy and gold, with the oak shade pooling long across a yard by four in the afternoon. Beckett's Tree Service & Landscaping works those hours — mowing, trimming, edging, and tending the ground and the trees around a house so the two finally look like they were planned together. Out here the land never lies flat; it rolls off toward the creek bottoms, and a mowing line has to answer the slope instead of fighting it. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass, when the cut turns sharp against a fencerow and the whole place seems to breathe easier. Freeborn and the farm roads that run out from it get that attention, one yard at a time.
