About Lee's Lawns

South and west of Festus the land begins lifting into the first Ozark ridges, and spring gets up here in a rush — one warm rain, a week of gray, and everything is growing at once. Lee's Lawns meets that head-on, because in April a yard can put on an inch and a half between visits. The routine holds it steady: cut at a height the fescue can live with, edge the walks, trim what a mower will never reach, sweep the pavement clean. When dry August arrives the mowing eases and the work turns to keeping things tidy until the fall rains bring the color back. It is a long green season out here, and it rewards showing up.
