About McBride Lawn Services

Down where the ground falls toward the creek bottoms, the yards around Queeny stay damp long after the ridge has dried, and sycamores lean over the back fences. McBride Lawn Services knows those lots — mowing them once the dew lifts so the tires do not print the turf, and cutting a hair taller where the shade and the moisture team up. Trimming follows the fence lines and the creek-side edge, and the walks get blown clean before anyone tracks green into the house. The Meramec country south of here gives this whole area its damp, deep-summer green, and working with it beats fighting it. The result is a bottom-land yard that looks kept instead of soggy.
