About Down In The Dirt Lawn Care LLC

Push a spade into a Fair Grove yard and it rings off chert before it goes deep — this is Ozark ground, a thin skin of topsoil over stone. Down In The Dirt Lawn Care LLC works that ground on its own terms, mowing turf that has to root between rocks and still come up green. In April, when the first warm rains soak the Springfield Plateau, the grass wakes in a hurry and the lines along drives and walks start to blur. That is when a sharp trim matters most, redrawing each border so the yard reads neat from the road again. Lawn care that lives up to its name, right down in the stony soil this town was built on.
