The Cutting Edge Lawn Service

About The Cutting Edge Lawn Service

There is still a mill in Fair Grove — Wommack's white frame and the pond beside it, the town gathered on the plateau north of Springfield where the Ozarks begin to rise. The Cutting Edge Lawn Service keeps the yards along those streets on a weekly rhythm from the first warm week of April onward. Mowing, edging along walks and drives, string trimming into the corners a deck can only look at, then clippings blown back off the concrete before the gate closes. Storms build fast over this country in June, so the route runs early and the work gets done ahead of the sky. A yard with a true edge looks finished even from a passing car, and that is what the trip is for.
