About 2 J's & Sons

West of the Elk River the road bends with the water, past gravel bars and sycamores that lean out over the current. 2 J's & Sons keeps the lawns along there mowed and trimmed, with the edges run clean where grass tries to creep across the concrete. River-bottom soil grows grass fast and thick, so the mowing weeks come close together from spring into early fall. The reward is simple and visible: a yard sitting square and green against all that leaning, tangled river country. In autumn the leaves come off the bank in drifts, and they get raked and hauled before the wet sets in.
