About 4C Services

Deer Creek runs low and slow through the bottomland here, and on the coldest mornings a skin of ice creeps out from its banks toward the middle of the current. 4C Services works the roads that shadow that creek, plowing the low crossings first since they freeze glassy long after the ridgetops have gone dry. The truck idles at each low-water crossing, blade dropped just enough to clear the crust without gouging the gravel underneath. Upstream, where the bottom widens into pasture, driveways get the same careful pass, snow pushed back in even rows along the fence. By afternoon the creek is still running black between its white banks, and the roads beside it are bare and open end to end. 4C Services handles the Deer Creek bottoms and the farm roads that rise away from them.
