About CABAÑAS LAWN CARE LLC

On a June afternoon the sky out past the Missouri bottoms turns the color of a bruise, and everybody in Creve Coeur starts counting the minutes until the rain reaches Olive Boulevard. CABAÑAS LAWN CARE LLC has learned to read that clock, finishing the mowing while the air goes still and green and the first cool gust comes down the street ahead of the storm. Mowing, trimming, edging the curb line, sweeping the clippings back into the turf where they belong — done in order, done before the drops start marking the sidewalk. Afterward the rain does its half of the job, and by evening the yard stands up thick and washed and freshly squared away. Beating a Missouri thunderhead by fifteen minutes is its own small trophy, and it gets earned most weeks of the summer.
