The Mowing Magician

About The Mowing Magician

At six in the morning the dew on a Columbia lawn is heavy enough to print your boots, and by nine that same yard is dry and shorn and somebody is walking a dog across it wondering when it happened. The Mowing Magician likes that gap. Behind it is unglamorous work — one mowing line held true across the whole yard, string trimming at trees, fences and the foundation, edging that gives the walk its border back, every clipping blown clear before the trailer gate goes up. Around Stephens Lake the maples throw enough shade to change how each yard grows, so the cut gets adjusted rather than simply repeated. Vanishing overgrowth is the only trick on the menu, and it works every week.
