Korte Tree Care

About Korte Tree Care

The oak-hickory woods around Rock Bridge carry ice differently than open ground — a quarter inch of glaze can bow a whole canopy low enough to block a drive, and that's the call Korte Tree Care answers first after a winter storm moves through Boone County. Clearing snow here means starting with what's fallen: broken limbs, downed branches, the debris an ice storm leaves scattered across a driveway before anyone can plow it. Once the path is clear of wood, the crew works the snow itself, opening driveways and walkways for homes tucked back among the trees on the south side of town. It's uncommon work, half arborist and half plow driver, suited to a place where the tree line runs right up to the pavement. There's real satisfaction in watching a driveway that was blocked by a fallen limb at seven in the morning stand open and swept clean by eight.
