Grimaldo Lawn Care & Concrete

About Grimaldo Lawn Care & Concrete

An October afternoon on the north end of Columbia, along Old 63 and Vandiver: low sun, long shadows thrown across the drives, leaves gathering against every curb. Grimaldo Lawn Care & Concrete handles both halves of what a yard is made of, the grass and the flatwork it wraps around. Mowing, trimming, edging and a cleared drive on the lawn side; concrete walks, drives and slabs on the other, poured and finished so the turf has something square to grow up against. Cleanups come in spring and fall, mulch goes into the beds, and the leaves go out before rain mats them down. A straight edge running alongside fresh concrete is one of the plainest satisfactions in this line of work.
