Dercher’s Lawn Service

About Dercher’s Lawn Service

North of Columbia the hills flatten toward Hallsville and the wind has nothing to lean on for miles. Dercher's Lawn Service works that open country and the town streets both, starting in March while the gusts are still cold and the fescue is only just deciding to move. The first visits are cleanup — winter debris raked out, beds cut back, leaf drift pulled from every corner the wind has been filling since November. Then the rotation begins: mow, trim, edge, clear the walks, week on week until the ground goes dormant again. Out where the sky is that wide, a mowed yard is the first thing anybody sees coming up the road.
