About Atkins, Inc.

A parking-lot island on the Business Loop asks more of a crew in July than any back yard in Columbia does — full sun, road heat, and grass rooted in six inches of hard fill. Atkins, Inc. mows and trims those frontages along Range Line and the Loop on a set rotation, keeping sight lines open at the drive aprons and the curb line clean. String trimming runs around signposts and light bases, edging holds back the turf creeping onto sidewalk, and blowers clear every walk before the lot fills again. Beds are kept weeded and mulched, and shrubs are cut back so storefronts stay visible from the road. By mid-afternoon the heat rolls off the asphalt in sheets and the crew is already three properties down the strip.
