About Tyco Hydroseeding

Half the hillsides Tyco Hydroseeding worked to establish new grass on last fall are now just quiet white slopes above Cassidy's back roads, waiting out the cold under a few inches of snow. The same crew that shaped and seeded those embankments spends the winter clearing the driveways and access roads below them, working from a knowledge of the ground that most plow outfits don't have — where the fill is soft, where a lane was cut too close to a ditch, where water pools and freezes first. There's a particular quiet to the job in the early hours, before the county roads are salted and before anyone else is up in the hollow. Watching a bare embankment they graded months earlier hold steady under snow, and scraping the lane in front of it back to bare gravel, closes a kind of loop in the work. The hillside stays put, the driveway stays open, and Cassidy gets through the cold stretch.
