About Green Guys

Nothing in the Midwest happens faster than April along Clarkson Road — one warm week and every lawn in Chesterfield goes from straw to a green you can pick out from a moving car. Green Guys meet that week head on: the first cuts of the year, edges reopened after winter, fertilizer and weed control while the ground is still cool. Then comes the long summer rhythm of mowing and trimming, the same day each week, so nothing ever gets ahead of anybody. Autumn brings aeration, seed and leaf cleanup to set the yard up for the next go-round. Green is the whole job here, and they take the word literally.
