About Baxter Gardens of Chesterfield

By June the beds along Baxter Road are full and leaning into the walkways, and a lawn only looks as good as the line where it meets them. Baxter Gardens of Chesterfield tends both sides of that line — grass cut and edged clean, beds weeded and mulched, shrubs sheared back to shape before they swallow a path. Mowing and trimming run weekly through the growing season, while spring and fall bring the larger cleanups, aeration and seed. There is real satisfaction in stepping back at the end of an afternoon and seeing a whole yard read as one composed thing. Chesterfield is a town that plants, and this is the upkeep that keeps the planting worth it.
