Appalachian Lawn Care

About Appalachian Lawn Care

Some mornings the low ground west of town holds fog until nine, and the oak-and-hickory hills above it surface out of the white one ridge at a time. Appalachian Lawn Care is out in that hour, dew still on the boots, the first cut of the day going down while the air is cool enough to enjoy. They mow, trim, edge and clear clippings, keep shrubs shaped back from the windows, and haul leaves off once the hillside colors let go in late October. Fertilization and overseeding land at the shoulders of the year, when Missouri weather finally gives grass a fair chance. Hill ground asks more of a mower and more of the person pushing it, and that suits them fine.
