The year out here has two halves. From April to October it is grass — mowing, trimming, edging, beds kept clear, leaves moved as they start to come down. From November on it is oak and hickory, split and stacked and seasoning under a tarp while woodsmoke sits low over the creek on the cold still evenings. Happy Days Lawn Care & Firewood keeps both ends of that calendar, cutting lawns on a schedule through the green months and supplying firewood once the wind turns around. It suits a place where the same trees that shade a yard in July end up heating a house in January.
