About Martin Lawn & Landscape

Caruthersville sits low and level against the Mississippi, where the levee draws a long green line between the town and the moving water. Martin Lawn & Landscape works in that flat Bootheel light, where a summer afternoon hangs heavy as river fog and grass grows like it has somewhere to be. Cutting, trimming and shaping up the beds is how a Caruthersville yard stays sharp from the street, even through the August swelter. When evening comes down over the cotton country and the river turns to copper, a fresh-cut lawn and a squared-off edge make a small, deeply pleasing kind of order.
