About Mc Cumber Lawn Care LLC

South of Carrollton the land falls away toward the Missouri River bottoms, and on a July noon the cicadas make a sound you can feel in your teeth. Mc Cumber Lawn Care LLC works straight through it — mowing, trimming along fence lines, edging drives and sidewalks, clearing the cuttings so nothing tracks indoors. Heat like that asks for sharp blades and a higher cut, because grass mown too close in a Carroll County August simply gives up. Done right, a lawn holds its color through the worst of the month and the yard stays somewhere people will actually sit in the evening. Then October arrives, the leaves start, and the work turns to putting the season away neatly.
