About J&J Yard Co. LLC

Spring reaches the James River arm of Table Rock before it ever climbs the ridges — dogwood first, then redbud, then grass coming up green between the limestone and the cedar. J&J Yard Co. LLC keeps the yards of Cape Fair through all of it, on ground that rarely agrees to lie flat: mowing hillside lots and lake-cabin lawns, trimming around outcrop, fence and dock path, edging the drives, and clearing leaves and cedar litter once the coves go quiet in fall. Cutting here means reading a slope before the mower ever touches it, and knowing where the rock hides under the turf. A lawn held short and level above the water is a rare flat thing in this part of the Ozarks. It is worth every bit of the trouble it takes, and that is how it gets done.
