About Roberts Lawn Service

North of here the land climbs toward the Missouri River bluffs, and on a clear evening the light comes across that high ground gold and level. Yards catch it, and a lawn mowed that day catches it best — even stripes, and a hard boundary where turf stops and concrete starts. The week's work is unglamorous and exact: mowing, trimming around posts, trees and foundations, cutting the walk edges, clearing the drive before pulling out. Spring adds mulch and a fresh border around the beds; November adds leaves, taken off the lawn instead of ground into it. Between Calvey and the river towns there is always grass asking, and it gets answered.
