About Quentin Sehie Landscaping

Byrnes Mill lies along the Big River, where sycamores lean out over the gravel bars and the bottomland gives way in a hurry to steep Jefferson County oak hills. Quentin Sehie Landscaping mows and maintains yards on both kinds of ground — the low lots that come back thick and green after high water, and the shaded slopes where the grass is thin and needs a lighter touch. The work is mowing, trimming, edging and keeping beds and borders honest, all of it fitted to whatever a particular piece of river land is doing that month. Riverside yards collect things, so a visit ends with sticks and clippings cleared and the drive swept back to bare concrete. On a still evening, with the river running low and the hills going blue behind it, a freshly cut yard out here is a genuinely fine sight.
