About Byrd Landscape & Lawn LLC

The county roads out of Byrd climb and fall in short waves, the kind of country where a yard is rarely level and the mower has to know it before the wheels do. Byrd Landscape & Lawn LLC runs those hills all week, mowing, trimming and edging, and clearing the fencelines and bed edges that go shaggy fast in this soil. Grass behaves differently on a sunny south bank than it does under the oaks at the bottom of a draw, so the deck height changes, the pattern changes, and the pass around the culvert gets walked instead of ridden. What never changes is the finish: hard lines at the drive, no scalped crowns on the rises, nothing windrowed across the walk. By Friday the whole route reads like one long even sentence, ridge after ridge to the county line.
