About BR Lawn & Landscape

Morning in Byrd starts low and white, fog pooling in the hollows between the hickory ridges until the sun burns it off the fencelines. BR Lawn & Landscape is out in those Cape Girardeau County yards while the dew still bends the blades over — mowing, trimming, edging the walks back to a clean line. The ground here rolls hard; a single yard can climb a bank, drop to a ditch and wrap a stand of oaks, so each one gets cut to its own shape instead of a template. By the time heat lifts off the gravel road, the passes are laid even, the beds are cut off sharp and the clippings are blown clear of the drive. It is a plain kind of pride, and it shows from the road: a place that looks like somebody loves it.
